Our last Austin adventure was to explore the Barton Springs Pool. It's a public pool and the water was freezing. Lake Erie in April freezing. The bottom was really slippery because of all the algae on the bottom - in fact the pool is closed every Thursday so it can be cleaned. Allison was too cold to swim so we didn't spend much time in the water. We did get a lot of excitement with when a group of young ladies were swimming topless. Then a woman nearly drowned but thankfully a fellow swimmer saw her and alerted the lifeguards.
Next we went to Mount Bonnell, which gives some great views of the waterway and some very swanky houses.
