 The cicada bugs are out in full force around our neighborhood. Allison has been collecting the shells this month.Today she found one on the wheel of Nathan's car.

Dessert Flights

A local bakery has been having monthly dessert flights.

The first month was cake.

And this month is ice cream sandwiches.

Church Clean Up

Tonight we met up with our friends, The Henke's, who do the landscaping at our church. Here are some of the kids on the mountain of leaves and branches we cleaned up after a recent storm.

Lazy Summer Nights

Gezer Park

Today we went to Gezer Park to meet up with some friends and let our kids run off some energy.

 The kids found toads and met a man with a really cool remote controlled boat.

Food Truck

 A big thing in KC right now is food trucks coming into neighborhoods. Tonight we had a local funnel cake truck stop at our next door neighbor's house. It was a delicious treat.
