Happy Halloween!

Today is Allison's first Halloween! I wanted to make her a cutesy costume but her past reactions to my girl ideas is to be UNHAPPY. She tolerates her pink onsies, but doesn't like me to put dresses on her. I decided to have some fun and I made her 2 costumes! I used clothes that she already had so that she's be comfortable.

She loved this costume because she was super comfy in her p.j's that Anna and Rich got for her, and she could chew on her beard. I thought she would hate having something around her face (the beard is detachable by buttons on the inside of the hat) but she loved playing with it.

Scarlett and Tanner often talked about the movie Despicable Me over the summer and the Minions were the perfect inspiration for Halloween- plus this costume allowed for a hat so that she'd be warm while we went Trick- or-Treating. I used felt to cover her shoes and add the "G" detail to her overalls.
