Eagles

One of my favorite parts of visiting Boxall in the spring is heading into the forest to see if any baby eagles have hatched. Last year there were two, and this year there was one. The baby is quite large, but still learning to fly. It was interesting to watch it try to keep it's balance on the tree branch when it hopped out of it's nest on a windy day. Once it spotted me between the trees, it hopped back to it's nest and started calling for it's Mom.
