New Friends

I've been spending time with Kristen, a new to KC mom of 3 (from Tennessee) who has a son in Allison's class. Kristen loves exploring new towns and already has tipped me off on some cool KC spots. Today I offered to take her (and her brood) to the KC zoo. We spent nearly 4 hours exploring the main part of the zoo. The kids played really well together so Kristen and I got some time to chat.

The birds were a zoo highlight, and Allison was even picked to feed a sea lion at the sea lion splash!
