We arrived at 5pm on Saturday so we were just in time for dinner and a birthday celebration for my mom, who turned 60 earlier in the week.

Myrtle Beach
Thankfully we (and our luggage) made it to Myrtle Beach. We nearly missed our connecting flight because our KC flight was delayed. My parents picked us up from the airport and drove the us the 15 minutes to the Ocean Lakes Campground where they had rented a house.
