Allison had the day off school today and it was amazing because it was an exclusively Whitefield day off - which means we could do things out in the world without every other parent and kid in KC looking for something to do. This meant we had the ice all to ourselves at the Ice Terrace, an outdoor skating rink downtown. We skated for 2 1/2 hours. Allison started off shaky and wanted to keep to the wall but after the first 1/2 hour she was skating on her own! I'm really proud of how well she did today!
