On this day we went to the Senior Living Facility in Raytown to see our friend Imogene. We met Imogene, along with Liz and Jake (friends from church) and we spent the morning on a long walk to a local park.
We're still having warm days and our neighbor, Jill, is always generous to let us use her pool.
Today we spent the afternoon in Parkville, Missouri.
Today we went on a hike in Mill Creek Park. There was a water way through the park that Allison (and Nathan) had a great time splashing around in.
Today was Allison's first day of second grade. We are so thankful that Allison's school has decided to go to in-person learning. Everyone has differing on opinions on what is safest/best for their family, but we believed that Allison should be in school - or her development, her mental health, and with our knowledge of how infrequently COVID is passed between children.
Allison was very excited to get back in school (as these pictures show) and our neighbors, Keith and Diana, told me I was welcome to use their beautiful backyard for Allison's back to school pictures.
