After we spent the morning at Big Bull Creek Park, we stopped for lunch then decided to drive into Paola, Kansas to the Hillsdale State Park. The Park was mostly empty so we were able to have free reign of the beach, the trails, the lookout point, and the marina.
The beach was beautiful and Allison spent her time looking for special rocks and shells. Nathan found several gun casings, and most of the signs in the park were riddled with bullet holes. While we were driving out, we passed a hunter with a cross brow (which I didn't think you could do/have in a State park), so it was probably best we left.
