Fuzzy at the Wedding

We were lucky enough to be invited to the wedding of Emily and Connor, a young couple at our church. It was a beautiful wedding. It was held at the Brookside Gardens, the weather was perfect, the dinner was catered by Joe's KC BBQ, and the DJ had everyone pulling out their best dance moves.

Allison got Fuzzy the First Grade Fox to take home this weekend, and like last year's class mascot, she had to write about what she did with Fuzzy. She decided to bring him to the wedding. There were 4 of her classmates at the wedding and they had a great time tossing Fuzzy around the dance floor.

We've been talking and reading a lot about weddings this week to prepare Allison, so when I pulled her aside right before the ceremony to give her a serious talk about what was expected of her for the next 30 minutes, she said, "yah mom, I KNOW! Emily is the star of the day, NOT ME!"
