Lego Club

Each week Allison meets with her first and second grade friends for Lego Club. The are 12 kids split into two teams and at the end of the course the kids will compete in the local Boom Town Build. The Boom Town Build is where the team works together to prepare buildings and shelters to face a natural disaster (flood, earthquake), and then they use Lego robotics to make program one of their buildings. Allison's team focuses on a flood and they built a lock system that opens and closes with the programming software.

I took pictures of each team and individual pictures for the kids to use on their poster board that they will take to the competition.
