There were food trucks, bounce houses, face painting, and some really cool amateur and professional kite flyers. We stayed for 3 hours and were thankful the rain held off so that we could enjoy watching the huge kites take to the sky.

Flights of Fancy
After 2 straight weeks of working, Nathan finally had a day off. We decided to go to the annual kite festival, Flights of Fancy, held at Longview Lake in Lees's Summit, Missouri.
There were food trucks, bounce houses, face painting, and some really cool amateur and professional kite flyers. We stayed for 3 hours and were thankful the rain held off so that we could enjoy watching the huge kites take to the sky.
