On our way home from the murals, Nathan mentioned that he's always wanted to try gelato from a local chocolate shop that he passes each day on his way to work. Since it was 10am (perfect gelato time) we stopped and each picked two flavors to try. Allison got chocolate chip and birthday cake, Nathan picked root beer and grapefruit, and I picked coconut and lemon basil. It was so good and light! Plus, for 3 smalls (which was more than enough gelato) it was just under $9, which is much cheaper than local ice cream parlors.
We will definitely be back.
