It has been a full week of make believe, from a 5 days in Florida surrounded by princesses, dressing up as pilgrims and Indians on Friday, going back in time to Judea on Friday night, and seeing Frozen II on Saturday afternoon. Last night we decided to suspend reality a little more by dressing up for our friend, Gabby's, 25th Murder Mystery birthday Party. It was a 1920's theme and several of the clues and "reveals" were very close to the story line of The Great Gatsby.
The 14 people in attendance we each given a character to play in the story (Nathan and I were Mr. and Mrs. Butler) and we were all tasked with finding out who murdered Dahlia, a guest at the home of Mr. Fox.
We investigated for an hour and only one person guessed the murderer. It was fun to get dressed up and it made me want to host one of these parties at our house!
