Today (on a tip from a man at our church) we drove to Sugar Creek Missouri (about 20 minutes away) to watch an Independence Day parade. I really love parades and was so excited - even though it was really hot and we had to sit on the burning sidewalk. It was a large parade - it lasted about an hour, and I was able to take a few pictures and Nathan managed to catch some candy so overall it was a great morning.
This weekend has taken alot of us - we've both got a little sun, we've been all over the place, we've learned, we've driven, we've visited friends, and it doesn't feel like we've slept enough.It was a long weekend that felt like a full holiday and we're both so thankful that we had the time to spend together.
