Sky Zone

I saw a Facebook post last night that advertised a Toddler Time at Sky Zone, a trampoline park in Lee's Summit (30 minute drive from our house). For $10, a toddler and adult can jump for an hour. It was also a princess themed event and Allison loves when I let her where her royal gear out in the world.

Nathan received some fantastic news today - his visa was approved! This means he will finish orientation early next week, and hopefully will get the work portion of his visa (yes, there is still more waiting but a co-worker of Nathan's who just got his visa, received the second part a week later) next week and that he can rejoin the schedule starting July 23. To celebrate, he came with us to the trampoline gym.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Sky Zone is brand new and everything is bright and clean. We arrived promptly at 10am and we were the only people there for 15 minutes. After that, people trickled in and by the end of our hour it was getting busy. Next time, I'll know better that to put Allison in a long dress. She fell a few times after tripping on it (but all the other kids there were super envious of her awesome dress).

Next to the Sky Zone was a place called Frontier Justice. It's logo is Faith, Family, Freedom. It was a gun shop/range, and western/hunting wear store. It was intense, but not the way that Cabela's or Bass Pro Shop is. This is for people who love their rights, not people who just want a gun, or want to hang out at a big box shop on a Saturday. Here are a few handouts we picked up, including one for a gun class.

 There was a different class available for Home Safety, and it said (in the course description) that it was ideal for nannies and babysitters.
