Allison loves the Wonderscope Children's Museum. We usually go once a week, so having a yearly pass is definitely worth it for us. The last time we were at the museum, there were several new exhibits but when we came back this week, I noticed that several things had already been broken. Allison loved the new supermarket room, but now that it's been open for a month, the "scanner" is broken, the microphone has been ripped out of the checkout, and half the shrink wrapped food has been torn open. It's still fun and since we arrived right when the museum opened, Allison was able to play uninterrupted for 30 minutes before a large group of kids arrived.
Allison's second favorite room is the vet clinic/ baby nursery. She loves to give the dogs their shots (and I have to make the sad puppy noises), then she whispers, "it's okay, it's okay."
The used to be one out of date room that had a Lego submarine and old blocks, but now it has a rock climbing wall, balance beams, hopscotch and other active games for kids. Allison was pretty upset at the change, but she really liked the climbing wall and did pretty well.
