I was doing some cleaning at my parents’ house when I opened
the closet to go through some of my old things. Hanging there was my niece’s
dance outfit from her last recital.
Allison saw it and I wish I had my camera to take a photo of
her face. She immediately stripped down and wanted to put it on. It’s a little
big but she doesn’t care. She is obsessed and wore it all day long. She loves
to twirl and talk about how sparkly it is. When I ask her if she’s a princess,
she says, “Nooooooo…princess costume!”
