My mom and I decorated our new Christmas tree. We've always had fake trees in our house, and I love that. I think we had a real tree one year but it was so messy and not worth it. This was the first year we used this tree and it looks great. It's fun to see how tree decorating changes of the years. We started with so many homemade ornaments and multi-colored lights, then moved from tinsel to icicles, now we're into a blue and silver theme. It was joyful that my mom and I could do the tree together this year.
