Today we spent the morning walking through the Wyandotte Park. There is a lake surrounded by acres and acres of open space, playgrounds, hiking trails, and shelters. Even though it was a gorgeous space and the weather was amazing, we only saw a a handful of people at the park. I thought more people would be out taking advantage of the few warm days we have left!
Allison loved playing at the edge of the water, but she didn't want to get her feet wet, so she insisted Nathan pick her up and dip her towards the water so she could fill up her water bottle.
After we got home, we got Allison down for a good nap, then after dinner we headed to our friends (the Moore's) house. Allison has recently become good friends with Levi, the Moore's 4 year old son, and they had a great time playing while the grown ups played Scrabble.
We kept Allison up way too late, but she still wasn't ready to go when it was time to leave.
