Craft Patterns

I don't usually follow a pattern when I've crocheting because I am usually copying something that I've seen and don't have a pattern. This is fine when there's a single item, but when you're trying to make two (ie. these baby boots) you want them to be the same so today I'm working on writing my own pattern - which actually takes longer than you'd think. I don't have anything planned today so I've decided it will be my "Finish a Project Day" day. And I have A LOT of projects going on. First thing I finished - these boots. I didn't know what to do with this thick brownish/grayish yarn but it was the perfect colour for this project.
