Feed and Grow

Now that Allison is in Pod A, we're expected to take on more responsibilities. Bathing, diapers, cleaning, and soothing is up to us (when we're there) and it's been great to get some practice in before we take her home. The team at the hospital is great, the lactation consultant came yesterday because Allison is ready to start breastfeeding, and the doctors and nurses are always available to answer any questions (and we have tons).

Allison is what the nurses call and "feed and grow" baby because other than feeding her and changing her, they aren't doing anything else for her. We're just waiting for her to get bigger and stronger. Today she showed up that she is well on her weigh...she is now 4 pounds, 11 ounces! (get it...weigh?)
