There is always so many things to remember when it comes to your kids school. Besides homework and a lunch, there's clothes for cold weather, hat and mitts, school participation day (p.j. day, wacky sock day, wacky hair day), snack day (where kids bring the daily snack), library books, etc. I don't know how people with multiple kids do it! It's never ending but always fun, and it makes going to school fun, which Allison struggles with anyway. She loves having fun activities to look forward to.
Today was the Christmas book exchange. Each kid was to wrap a book they were willing to part with and send it to school. Then each kid picked a wrapped book and that was their Christmas gift. Allison was very excited to show me her book and have me read it before bed tonight.
