Tonight we made plans to visit my friend Ashley in West Lorne. Ben wasn't around but I still brought Nathan with me. I know I've bragged about being on our own this week and being able to take care of ourselves but tonight we got some help.
Nathan went to the grocery store this morning to buy me some strawberries that were on sale and Debbie (who works at the store and knew we were heading to Ashley's for dinner) saw him and sent him up to her place to pick up a meatloaf for us for dinner.
We cooked it at our place and then traveled the 25 minutes to Ashley's to heat it up a bit. It was delicious and I think we all appreciated the parental presence.
