Parent/Teacher Interviews

Allison's preschool had parent/teacher meetings today and I wasn't sure that I needed to go because I talk to the teacher every time I drop Allison off and pick her up but I didn't want to miss out on anything so I decided to go.

The day was split in 20 minute slots and I signed up for 9:00am. Allison played in the classroom while I talked with Laura. Laura had great things to say about Allison, yes she has trouble staying in her seat or sitting through long stories, but she is one of the most caring kids in the class. Laura said that if during play time, someone gets upset, Allison will stop what she's doing and go over to the classmate and ask them what's wrong. She also gets upset if a classmate is sad.

I have noticed that at home, she is very susceptible to the mood in the house. Laura said she is doing well with numbers and letters, which was surprising because lately she is refusing to recite them with me.
