Lakeside Nature Center

Allison didn't have school today so Nathan and I decided to take her to the Lakeside Nature Center. It was a gorgeous fall day.

The nature center is free, and has exhibits, animals, puzzles, games, and guides to help you discover native species of Kansas/Missouri.

 

 

 

I decided that I needed a plan to keep Allison focused on our walk. I went online and googled nature walk, preschool, scavenger hunt. This page popped up and it was perfect for today! We didn't see any worms (too dry) or clouds (too sunny), but we weren't complaining about the clouds!
