Rainbow Playdate

Today was a school-wide play date for Rainbow School. About 20 families came and while Allison was disappointed that some of her favorite girl friends from the Rainbow Room weren't there, she found some new friends to spend the morning with. We met at Taliaferro Park which is only a few blocks from our house, and stayed for a picnic lunch before heading home.

 The park has brand new playground equipment, but the kids were much more interested in playing in the empty ball diamond. In this picture, Allison is filling her shoes with dirt.Her next stop was to take her dirty shoes over to the water fountain and wash them. Step three was to cry that her shoes were wet.
