Family Portrait III

Here is our third family portrait.

The costumes weren't as difficult this time- Allison's took the most effort. I used the black circle skirt from the last picture, cut it off and sewed a felt pup on it (with binding tape for the leash). I found this sweater from Maj-R-Thrift for Nathan for $1.00 and I made Allison's soda jerk outfit of an apron and hat out scrap fabric I already had. The bottles of Coca-Cola were the most expensive items!

Even though the outfits were easy - putting the image together was tough. I knew I could never create a diner set in our home so I took each of our photographs separately and then put them into a stock photo- I also added the booth (so Allison wouldn't be on the diner floor). It's cheesy but it made us laugh - and that's all that matters!
