Brookside

It was so hot, humid, and gorgeous outside today that I really wanted to get out of the house. Luckily, Madison was available to join me on a walk around Brookside, a small community that the church is in. It's a very clean, young family style and I haven't spent much time there and wanted to use the great weather to take a few pictures.

Unfortunately, Nathan came home today at 9am (he started at 6am). He was really sick and not feeling well at all. He just wanted to sleep so it worked out well that I had plans to go out, so he could rest in quiet.

I felt bad about not staying home to take care of him but I really didn't want to break plans.

Madison and I spent a few hours walking around. We stopped at the John Wornall House at it was so fitting that we did- the Wornall Home was part of a large battle on this day in 1864!

We had a great time visiting, catching up, and exploring Brookside - with Miss Melody in tow!
